Embroidered Athena’s Owl in Frame

Framed embroidery hanging featuring Athena’s Owl.  He is stitched on cotton fabric and mounted on cardboard with cotton batting inside the frame.  This design is so amazing – it is stitched in one color, but the thread changes direction and style, creating an incredibly detailed owl with great depth and texture.  The design is 4×4″, frame is 5×5″ ID, 6×6″ OD.  Frame is made to sit on a table or hang and is wood with plexiglass.  See other pics for one that was custom made with teal thread for the owl!
