Pumpkin Etching Embroidered Rope Trivet

One of the most fun things I learned to do last year was make rope trivets and bowls from clothesline.  I embroidered this one with a simple Pumpkin Etching and just love how it turned out!  This design is approx. 5×7″, and the trivet is 8″. You can hang it on the wall by the little loop for decoration when not in use.

Materials Used:   cotton rope, wash away stabilizer, polyester sewing thread, polyester embroidery thread, basting spray
